GuideForms is free to use with no limits on the number of guides you can create. The Pro version unlocks advanced step types, deeper analytics, CRM integrations, and more customization options.

What’s included in Free
The free version is fully functional and not a limited trial. You get:
- Unlimited guides with unlimited steps — no caps on usage or pageviews
- Cards step type — visual card selections with images, titles, and descriptions
- All data sources — filter by taxonomies, post meta, ACF fields, WooCommerce attributes, and AAWP product data
- Result display — grid or list layout with sorting, pagination, excerpts, and featured images
- Basic conditional logic — show or hide steps based on previous selections
- Color customization — primary color, button styles, card styles, spacing
- Basic analytics — guide views and completions
- Embed anywhere — Gutenberg block and shortcode
What Pro adds
Additional step types
Pro unlocks the Slider step for numeric selections — both single-value sliders and range sliders with min/max handles — and the Lead Form step for capturing visitor contact information before showing results.
Advanced filtering
Combine filter rules with AND/OR grouping for complex logic — for example, “(Category is Laptops AND Price < $1000) OR (Category is Tablets AND Price < $500)”. Free is limited to simple per-step filters.
Advanced conditions
Jump-to and skip-to logic let you send visitors to a specific step or skip steps entirely based on earlier answers. The free version only supports showing or hiding individual steps.
Funnel analytics & sessions
See exactly where visitors drop off with funnel visualization. Browse individual sessions to see each visitor’s selections, lead data, and matched results.
Design extras
Background images for steps and typography settings (font family, sizes, weights) give you more control over how your guides look.
Integrations
All integrations are a Pro feature. Automatically sync leads and session data to HubSpot, Mailchimp, FluentCRM, or any external service via webhooks. Integrations run via a background queue with automatic retry logic. Note: using AAWP, ACF, and WooCommerce as data sources for filtering is free — the integration feature covers outbound syncing of leads and session data.
Import & Export
Export guides as JSON files and import them on another site. Useful for migrating between environments, sharing templates, or backing up before major changes.
How to upgrade
- In your WordPress admin, go to GuideForms → Upgrade (or visit the GuideForms pricing page).
- Choose the Pro plan and complete the purchase.
- After payment, you’ll receive a license key by email.
- Back in WordPress, go to GuideForms → Account and enter your license key.
- The Pro features are activated immediately — no reinstall needed.
License activation
Your Pro license is managed through Freemius. Each license is valid for one site. You can deactivate a license on one site and reactivate it on another from the GuideForms → Account page or from your Freemius dashboard. License renewal happens automatically each year unless you cancel.
